DennisMathiew is founded by two
shipping lawyers. Dennis Tan and Captain Mathiew
Christophe Rajoo. Dennis and Mathiew are both maritime
law graduates of the University of Southampton, United
Kingdom, one of the leading maritime law schools.
Dennis and Mathiew are lawyers who are qualified to
practise in Singapore as well as in England. Dennis
has previously practised in English and Singapore
shipping law firms. Mathiew is the only master mariner
in Singapore who is qualified to practise as a
Singapore lawyer, having previously sailed with
Neptune Orient Lines as a deck officer.
