Professional Profile
Deborah graduated from Cambridge University in 1997 and was formerly a Justices’ Law Clerk with the Court of Appeal, Singapore before practising shipping and commercial law. In 2004, she moved to Indonesia, and later Malaysia, during which time she freelanced for Integral Marine Consultants (S) Pte Ltd, Singapore (IMCS) and Singapore Academy of Law (SAL). On her return to Singapore, she continued working at IMCS and also became a Consultant for SAL and Singapore Mediation Centre and was a Business Law adjunct instructor with the Singapore Management University. She has been a volunteer mediator with the State Courts’ Primary Dispute Resolution Centre since 2013 and has mediated at the Small Claims Tribunals and Syariah Courts.
